Z-Rock Down Packraft Race Payments

This course is for intermediate or experienced boaters .

This race hikes 5 miles up the McCarthy Creek Trail on a mix of an old road and along a series of cut banks to what we call the z-rock canyon.  The boating is a mix of splashy fun, and a number of defined boulder-garden style class II+ rapids that takes you back to McCarthy.

Difficulty: Moderate

Hiking & Elevation Gain/Loss:  5 miles; +735’/-255′; Trail hiking

Packrafting section:  5 miles; Class III (water level dependent)

Entry Fee:  $50/person
