Full-Day Glacier Hike
Trip Description
This is one of the best all around single day Alaskan adventures! Much like the ½ day glacier hike, your knowledgeable guide will lead you on an interpretive tour through historic Kennicott, and then on a hike down the two mile trail that leads you to the incredible white ice of the Root Glacier.
Once here you will learn to use your crampons and take your time exploring the glacier. Having a full day to explore will give you more opportunity to go further and deeper into the glacier wonderland then the ½ day hike allows. This is also a great trip to escape the crowds and let your guide show you some of their favorite places on the glacier!
