Grand Prize: Men’s and Woman’s first place each get $350 Alpacka Bucks to be used for anything Alpacka Rafts sells or towards any new boat or modification of your current boat!
Hiking & Elevation Gain/Loss: 6.5 miles; +3,200’/-2,750′; off-trail route finding skills needed
Packrafting section: 10.5 miles; Class III+ (water level dependent), mandatory portage
Entry Fee: $75/person

Grand Prize: Men’s first place is a Shred Ready helmet, and Woman’s first place is a Werner 4-peice paddle both thanks to the awesome folks at AMH!

Women’s Clinic Info:
The clinic was a huge success last year! This year we want to make it available to even more women so we are changing it up a little!
Friday, July 21
10am- Novice to Advanced: All are welcome! We will meet at the Swimming Hole in McCarthy for an introduction to packrafting. Here we will introduce you to fundamentals of packrafting including: Environmental Concerns and Equipment, River Reading, Principles of River Safety and Rescue, Self Rescue, Basic Paddle Strokes and Basic Boating Maneuvers. We will have boats and drysuits available to practice paddle strokes, maneuvering, and wet entry. We encourage advanced boaters to come to this portion as well!
12 pm – **FULL**Intermediate to Advanced: We will meet at the McCarthy Creek Bridge to preview the Z-Rock Down Race. This is meant for women who already have experience with packrafting in class II-III water who want to preview the course before the race (and go boating with a bunch of rad women!). Please bring your own boating equipment, if you do not own your own equipment KWG is offering 1/2 off rentals for the clinic.
